lagartijas tiradas al sol No es un poema, aunque soñemos muchas cosas

Mexico City, September 03, 2026 October 24, 2026

Galerie Nordenhake Mexico City is pleased to present No es un poema, aunque soñemos muchas cosas by the theater collective Lagartijas Tiradas al Sol opening during GAMA Week. The exhibition invites us to consider art as an activity that can take on many forms, but whose most intrinsic quality is movement.

Curated by the collective, the exhibition brings together existing works and new commissions by various artists and collaborators from around the world, whose practice ranges from painting to installation, including Abril Ramos Xochiteotzin, Bagus Pandega, Dayanita Singh, Eduardo Pizarro, Isabel Yáñez, Jo Ractliffe, Lagartijas Tiradas al Sol, Luisa Pardo, Lázaro Gabino Rodríguez, Mario García Torres, Matthew Krishanu, Mirosław Bałka, Nereyda López, Nicolás Pereda, Olga de Amaral, Pedro Pizarro and Soumya Sankar Bose.

As part of the exhibition, a series of performances will be presented on different days throughout the show. As well a conversation with biologist and writer Andrés Cota Hiriart will take place on Saturday September 5 at 2PM.
